Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked sago mini tapioca pearls
  • 5 ripe mangoes diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk

Equipment

  • Large bowl
  • Spoon
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Pot (for cooking sago)

Method

  1. Cook the sago pearls in boiling water until they turn translucent, then drain and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process and prevent sticking.
  2. Peel and dice the mangoes into small, even cubes so they mix well and provide a balanced texture in every bite.
  3. In a large bowl, combine heavy cream, evaporated milk, and condensed milk, stirring until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
  4. Add the cooked and cooled sago pearls into the milk mixture and stir gently to distribute them evenly.
  5. Fold in the diced mango pieces carefully so they stay intact and evenly mixed throughout the dessert.
  6. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least a couple of hours to allow the flavors to blend and the dessert to chill properly.
  7. Stir lightly before serving and serve cold for the best taste and texture.

Notes

This creamy dessert combines soft sago pearls with sweet mango for a refreshing treat.
Chill well before serving to let the flavors blend and improve texture.
Do not overcook the sago, as it can turn too soft and mushy.
Adjust sweetness easily by adding more or less condensed milk.
Best served cold for a rich, smooth, and refreshing consistency.
