Method
- Fill a cocktail mixing glass (or a large measuring cup) with ice.
- Add gin or vodka, vermouth, and olive brine to the glass.
- Stir the mixture for 30–45 seconds until well chilled.

- Strain into a chilled martini glass.

- Skewer olives and drop them into the glass.

- Serve immediately, very cold.

Notes
This dirty martini recipe isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up, stirring something cold, and enjoying it even if you spilled a little brine on the counter.
If it’s not perfect the first time, congrats. You’re doing it right. That’s mostly what this kitchen is about anyway.
